Hours: Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m. & Saturday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
A window sticker is required for access and can be obtained at the town office, 34315 Geneva Rd., hours M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Recycling is mandatory. Bins are available for flattened cardboard, paper, newsprint.
A separate area takes comingled glass, tin, aluminum and plastic. Please help Wheatland recycle.
A permit and fee is no longer required to dispose of "white goods" as classified by the state (refrigerator, stove, etc.) as of May 9, 2022.
Electronics are banned from the landfills. Effective September 4th there will no longer be a fee for recycling TV or Computer screen/monitor. as well as No fees for other electronic items such as the CPU, cell phones, printers, etc. There will be a special bin for disposal of these items.
